Happy to be alive, with power, and out of school for 3 months!! I have a lot to be grateful and happy for right now since Wednesday 27 of April. last week a super cell hit the southern part of the US where I happen to live. My power was out since 8am Wednesday morning to Monday afternoon the next week , but the worst part had to be the EF 4s that hit Ringold and wiped out parts of Tuscaloosa AL. At this moment donations are being taken by the red cross and other organizations and since I'm out of school I will try to get some stuff made to sell in order to help the tornado victims  in Alabama, Tennessee, and my home state Georgia. I have discovered the joys of sewing. I wanted to sew for just  a hobby, not really taking it seriously, but I am beginning to take it a little more seriously. Sewing is one of the things I can actually do while I’m at work on break, unlike painting or pastels. It is veeery relaxing for me and allows my mind to explore other possibilities and create. As previously stated , I haven’t sewn anything besides stuffed footballs and pillow cases, but I am ignoring any lack of experience and doing the smallest plushies I can with my own patterns.
